Mummy and Me Sessions are subject to the following terms and conditions.
By booking your Session appointment you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms and conditions.
Digital Images. Stacey Lake Photography will select the best images from your Session and will edit them to enhance elements such as brightness, contrast, ect. You will receive your ordered amount of digital files from the session sent to you via an online gallery ready for you to download within a reasonable time period (normally within one week following your session). Stacey Lake Photography is not obligated to give the Client any images that are not already presented in their online gallery, and there is no option to choose any other images if you are dissatisfied with the ones that you have been given. The photographer has no obligation to retain or archive any of the images after they have been delivered to a client. It the client requests to have their gallery resent , a recovery fee will be charged for recovery and administration costs in doing so. Images will be provided if they are still in possession of the photographer.
Please arrive on time for your session and ensure that your little model/models are dressed and ready to go, these are back to back sessions and late arrival will result in a shorter session time.
The client forfeits their booking fee if they fail to turn up to their session on the booked time and date, this will act as a cancellation fee.
If you or your child is sick, please be compassionate and reschedule your appointment if there is another available date. I have a lot of newborn babies and pregnant mums coming to studio, and we don’t want sickness to spread to these vulnerable people. Please add an additional 7 days following your doctor's recommendations before attending a shoot to ensure the safety of all children at these sessions, and to ensure your child is well enough to perform happily. On the day cancellations or no shows will not be refunded.
I has spent much time sourcing beautiful heirloom products for her clients, if you wish to purchase products through Stacey Lake Photography please get in touch for the latest price list. Product ad on's can be added to your booking.
In the unlikely case of an emergency including illness, accidents or a similar situation, Stacey Lake Photography expressly reserve the right to reschedule any shoot taking place. In the event of a health crisis such as any level changes with the Covid-19 pandemic, no refunds will be given out, instead your paid amount will be transferred to be used towards any future full priced photography session with Stacey Lake Photography and must be used within a 12 month period.
No refunds will apply to any sessions.
Due to the custom nature of photography, strictly no refunds on either your session payment or your prepayment of any ad-on orders will be issued.
Image Release. I hereby give Stacey Lake Photography permission to use images from this and any portrait sessions for possible forms of advertisement and competitions to promote the photographer’s name or business. I have legal authority to grant these permissions and I accept all responsibility for such. COPYRIGHT is owned by Stacey Lake Photography. I do not have the right to revoke this consent.
To ensure the best print quality, avoid altering the images before printing. The photographer is not responsible for printing errors or for quality of prints or products printed elsewhere. The client is licensed to print from and use the digital files for personal purposes only. You may not scan or copy purchased prints.
Archive . After thirty (30) days, your final gallery of images will be purged from photographer’s hard-drive, except as needed for promotional purposes, to be determined by photographer at photographer’s sole discretion. The photographer is not responsible for loss or damage to the digital files due to circumstances beyond photographer’s control.
Online Sharing. Images may not be altered in ANY way by the client (no cropping, black/white conversion, filters, etc.). Clients are advised to turn off Facebook's "photo enhancement" feature before posting images as it will greatly distort the image quality. Please refrain from loading Screenshots online, as this does alter the quality of the images and is not a good reflection on the Photographers work.
Liability. The photographer is not responsible for any injuries inflicted upon any participating parties. Client(s) will be responsible for their children and for themselves and release the photographer from any claims against their person or their business. The Client(s) will waive, disclaim and release Stacey Lake Photography and its respective owners, members, employees, agents, volunteers and representatives from any and all actions, claims or demands that they may have now or in the future, whether known or unknown, against the Stacey Lake Photography Parties, including without limitation those related to injury to or death of persons, or damage, loss or destruction of property arising out of or in connection with the Session or any products related there to. If Stacey Lake Photography cannot perform this Contract due to fire or other casualty, strike,
act of God, or other cause beyond the control of the parties, or due to Photographer’s illness or emergency, then the Photographer shall return the retainer fee to the Client but shall have no further liability with respect to the Contract. This limitation on liability shall also apply in the event that photographic materials are damaged in processing, lost through camera or other media malfunction, lost in the mail, or otherwise lost or damaged without fault on the part of the Photographer. In the event Stacey Lake Photography fails to perform for any other reason, Stacey Lake Photography shall not be liable for any amount in excess of all monies paid.
Sneak Peaks and Facebook Sharing. Stacey Lake Photography will post a favorite shot(s) from the session on the Facebook fan page. Please note that clients are allowed to use these on their Facebook Profile as long as the watermark remains fully intact, and the photo is not altered or cropped in any way.
